We spend so much time preparing our children for college.
But who's preparing us?
The transition to college isn't just a big change for our children.
It's a transition for us as parents, too.
There can be excitement and pride, but also fear.
🤔 Are they ready?
🫣 Will they be okay?
😬 Have I done enough?
There can be grief as we begin to let go of the child we've raised, the role we've known, and even the family dynamic we've grown accustomed to.
And alongside all of that, there can be possibility, the possibility of a new relationship with our emerging adult, a new chapter for our family, and an opportunity to rediscover parts of ourselves that may have taken a back seat while raising our children.
In this free webinar...
We'll talk about how to navigate this transition with greater awareness and intention, from the college application years, through drop-off and separation, to adjusting to a new relationship when your child is away.
We'll explore how to:
✅ Support your child without making your stress their stress
✅ Know when to step in and when to step back
✅ Navigate fear, grief, excitement, and even the guilt that can come with enjoying your newfound freedom
✅ Adjust to a changing relationship with your child
✅ Make space for your own identity and what might be possible for you now
✅ Create a new family dynamic as your child becomes a young adult
Your child isn't the only one going through a transition.
You are too.
And perhaps this transition isn't only about what you're letting go of.
It can also be about what you're making room for. 💜
